The Fishing Rod allows you to catch fish in the lake.
To craft the Fishing Rod, you'll need:
- 6x Sticks
- 2x Jute Rope
- 1x Old Rags
At the lake, look for splashes on the water – that's where the fish is. Cast the line there, and start reeling in the bait, leaving it in one place won't work. When a fish bites the bait, a meter with a line at the bottom, and a line at the top will appear. This is the line tension meter. If the tension is too high – the line will break, if the tension is too low – the fish will slip off the hook. Do not stop reeling the fish in, adjust the tension of the line with your mouse! Keep reeling the fish in, and just like that, you've caught a fish!
There are a few types of fish in the game:
- Pine Bleak
- Waltz Bleak
- Northern Pike Perch
- Rainbow Perch
The Waltz Bleak is more rare, and drops the Waltz Bleak Skin instead of a skeleton. The skin is used in sewing. The other fish drop a Fillet that can be cooked or eaten raw, and a Skeleton that is used to craft Sewing Thread.
